My favourite thing about shooting film is the unknown, the pleasant surprise or vague disappointment when you pick up the negatives. I had completely forgotten about these images altogether until I stumbled across them last night whilst organizing the chaos that is my desk. From the dust accumulated I can only assume they have been there a while. They take me right back to last summer which was spent wandering and exploring one of my favourite localities; the quaint market town of Beccles, Suffolk. Taken on a late sunday afternoon everywhere was mildly deserted as if in some state of pensive melancholy; with the unexpected light leak only adding to the dreaminess of the place.
